Shana is a young and passionate sustainability professional. For the last year, She has been working with her alma mater, the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania to create a sustainability culture and program university-wide. Within the last year, she also has worked at the Sustainable Energy Fund on their Solarize Lehigh Valley program. The program was designed to off solar at a lower rate. She was in charge of organizing and schedule over 20 outreach events. Last November, Shana had the honor of attending the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on behalf of the American Association of Geographers, and the Republic of Liberia. Shana is the Director of Marketing and Outreach at Companies vs Climate Change.

I have over 20 years of corporate sustainability, communications and digital media experience, in the U.S. and abroad, primarily among Fortune 500 level companies, non-profits and NGOs.
I am a recognized writer, panelist, consultant, and thought leader covering sustainability, corporate social responsibility, environmental issues and business management with over 1,000 articles published.
Most recently I founded the world’s most well-read sustainable business publication, TriplePundit.com, sold to 3BLMedia in 2017. I managed the launch and development of TreeHugger.com and the re-launch of Motherjones.com. I have a strong network across many business and media sectors with a specific passion to help organizations design engaging sustainability plans to meet stakeholder objectives.
I currently live in San Francisco with my wife, Jo, whose books you should check out, and our son Charlie who likes to chase pigeons.

Jason has been producing conferences and events for 20 years. He has worked in many industries including non profit, technology, healthcare and life sciences. He has always enjoyed the creative process of putting together an impactful event.
Jason is also a long time writer, actor and comedian, performing around New York and New Jersey. He is thrilled to be fulfilling his dream of organizing a conference that explores the massive business and human race saving opportunities that exist in the battle against climate change.
Diego Ramos is a Sustainability Specialist, Bachelor of Environmental Management (USP), MBA focused on Sustainability Management (FGV), specializations of Business and Environment in USA (VCU), Germany (GIZ, AvH) and several related courses. He is an experienced Sustainability Professional since 2008, having worked with consulting firms, companies, governments, and NGOs. As a researcher, he has worked in institutes in Germany, USA, and Brazil. Since 2015, Diego has been Director, Research, and Business Development at Companies Vs Climate Change, coordinating research and development of our audience, speakers, and sponsors for CvCC events in US and Europe.
Denise has worked for top Environmental Consulting firms (Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Golder Associates) having been involved in dozens of projects in namely the Energy and Mining sectors. Clients have included Vale, Anglo-American as well as multilateral organizations such as the World Bank and InterAmerican Bank for Development (IDB). Her expertise includes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA), Social Baseline Surveys, Social Auditing, Compliance of Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards & ICMM, Stakeholder Mapping, Consultation & Engagement and Community Development.
Through the Climate Reality Project, Denise was trained by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, during The Climate Reality Leadership Corps in 2015. Since this training, Denise has increasingly been involved in several Climate Change initiatives in Miami that address Sea Level Rise and other pressing Climate Change impacts through mitigation and adaptation strategies.
Denise holds a BSc. in Environmental Science and a Masters in Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She speaks 4 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French) and has lived in 6 different countries across North, Central and South America.
Marissa Rosen is a strategic sustainability communications consultant; owner and manager of Climate Social, LLC. Within her niche in new media, she designs and implements social media and website strategies to build compelling brands, engaged networks, and business communities that proactively create positive impact.
After a career of developing and executing marketing strategies for roles in higher education, consulting, and online business publications, Marissa launched Climate Social in 2015.
Marissa has earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Missouri, and a Masters in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Advocacy and Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Lora is a dedicated and focused Research Manager who excels at prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously and following through to achieve project goals.
Experiences are varied and include customer service, bookkeeping and data entry; excellent proficiency with a variety of computer programs. Lora focuses on data entry, reconciliations, marketing projects, social outreach via internet resources, etc.
Jesse Rittenhouse is a seasoned business development professional, with years of experience in conference and event development. He believes in being socially responsible in business and that means concerning ourselves with the people and the planet, as well as profit, to be truly sustainable. Jesse has joined Companies Vs Climate Change to help businesses come together and share in solutions and adaptations for climate change.
Over the years, Jesse has helped to create the first fully-permitted biodiesel factory in Miami, became a leading recycling and solid waste industry expert, and founded the Recycling Energy Forum in 2015. He has produced, planned, and developed sponsorships for many sustainability-driven conferences, events, and talks over the years and brings this knowledge and experience to CvCC. He currently runs REF, a marketing agency focused on helping sustainable businesses. In addition, he voluntarily leads several environmental nonprofits as a member of the Board of Directors with Dream In Green, Marketing & Promotions Director for USGBC Miami Branch, and South Florida University Ambassador for Net Impact. Through his training as a Climate Reality Leader and through first-hand views of sea level rise in Miami, Jesse knows that climate change is a global issue that we must find solutions to for mitigation and adaptation.
Chris Allieri is founder and principal of Mulberry & Astor, a New York- based consultancy focused on delivering high-quality, integrated marketing and public relations programs for early stage companies, individuals, established businesses and non profits alike.
Chris has twenty years of diverse marketing & communications experience across multiple sectors. Prior to launching his own firm, Chris served as the chief communications & marketing executive at Edelman, the world’s largest PR company. Chris was also director of digital, corporate and internal communications at Univision, the U.S. Hispanic media company. He created and executed new technology product and network launches, social and digital media programs and cross-industry partnerships with Netflix, Hulu, Twitter, T-Mobile and the Clinton Foundation.
Prior to Univision, Chris led corporate communications in North America for Accenture’s management consulting practice, as well as its sustainability, digital strategy and risk management business lines globally. He was also director at Grayling, the public relations and public affairs firm, where his clients included the truth Campaign, The Coca-Cola Company and Toyota. Prior to that, Chris was director of communications for MOUSE, a national non-profit organization integrating technology in public schools. Additionally, Chris led community affairs and the corporate foundation for StarMedia Network, the Spanish and Portuguese-language internet company.
Chris serves on the board of directors of Farm Sanctuary and The Trevor Project, where he is currently vice chair. Chris received his BA with honors in environmental studies and Latin American studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and his MA in international affairs from Columbia University.
